Tourism and its Economic Impact

While it is generally recognized that the tourism sector in Uzbekistan represents a wide range of opportunities, little has been done to highlight the direct economic impact and positive collateral effects that ripple across other sectors of the economy. With over 10 years of experience in working closely with the tourism sector, the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan is pleased to sponsor a working seminar that will bring together representatives of the tourism sector as well as others who are benefiting directly and indirectly. The American Chamber of Commerce's Tourism Committee has collaborated closely with every government and private sector initiative related to tourism and the hospitality sector.

The seminar will provide an opportunity for meeting and exchanging ideas with those directly involved in tourism as well as receiving relevant information on tourism economic impact and potential in Uzbekistan.
