Asian Integration and Global Growth

The President of the Asian Development Bank and a select group of ADB Governors/Ministers will discuss three interrelated issues during the seminar:

Whether and how the current global crisis will act as an impetus for greater regional economic integration in Asia;
How accelerated Asian integration will help the current global economic recovery in the short to medium term and pave the way for a dynamic, yet stable, global economy in the longer term; and
What are the key government initiatives that need to be undertaken to foster greater Asia's economic integration in the years to come.
